Caitlin Weitzel Taking On New Role In 2017

We’re so excited to announce Caitlin Weitzel’s new position with Milwaukee Food & City Tours. Caitlin will ring in 2017 as our Private Events & Logistics Manager, focusing on building out our offerings for corporate clients and group travel; designing daytrips in Wisconsin and the Midwest; and working with our many Milwaukee hotel, attraction and restaurant partners.

Caitlin first was hired with Milwaukee Food & City Tours as a singing tour guide 3 tour seasons ago. Caitlin has led our Christmas Lights & Desserts Tour, bringing Christmas cheer for all to hear! Not only does the Christmas tour offer great dessert stops all over Milwaukee along with a chance to view area Christmas light displays, but it includes caroling on the bus from stop to stop. Helping with family outings and corporate team outings on the tour, she brought a dash of light-hearted holiday spirit to those looking to discover Milwaukee’s Christmas lights. In the past, much of her focus was on the Christmas tours and she’s excited to be more heavily involved in execution of all of our tours, including private team outings in Milwaukee.

Caitlin comes to us with a background in communication, event planning and leadership development.  She received her Master's degree in College Student Personnel Administration from Marquette University where she spent the last five years coordinating large scale programming for new students and their families.  She looks forward to using her background in a new way. Caitlin is especially looking forward to two special projects: taking a more hands-on role with coaching our tour guides to bring their best to the tours that they lead, and helping implement a year filled with  10th anniversary celebrations for Milwaukee Food & City Tours.

I am thrilled to come on board during such an exciting time for Milwaukee Food & City Tours. I look forward to working with the tour guides and Milwaukee partners as we move into this significant anniversary.
— Caitlin Weitzel
