Regardless of the season, Milwaukee offers great urban hiking options in downtown Milwaukee. Check out Seven Bridges, Grant Park, Urban Ecology Center and Hawthorne Glen to enjoy a breath of fresh air this spring.
Is the weather unpredictable this spring? Head indoors to soak up the warmth of the Puelicher Butterfly Vivarium at the Milwaukee Public Museum, or head over to The Mitchell Park Domes to bask in the sun through the 2,200 triangular panes of glass.

There are so many fantastic roadtrip options within one hour of downtown Milwaukee. One of our favorite destinations is located just one-hour north, Sheboygan, WI. Not only is the boardwalk at Kohler Andre State Park stunning, but you might see some fresh-water surfers. Unless we have an early warm up this season, skip the outdoor picnic lunch in lieu of a stop at Stefano Viglietti’s Il Ritrovo for lunch or dinner. It is possibly the most authentic Italian VPN pizza in the state of Wisconsin and a stop here will transport you to Italy without the hassle of a passport or jet lag. If you are looking for a more upscale stop, simply venture across the street to Trattoria Stefano for an even more intimate experience.

We frequently include a sunshine break in our custom tours with a stop at NorthSouth Club, Milwaukee’s new tropical-destination-meets-Up-North bar. Stop there to play a rousing round of Shuffleboard while sipping a MIL Tai (Milwaukee’s Mai Tai)!

Milwaukee may have built a strong foundation thanks to four breweries that made the city famous, but today we are home to more than 20 craft breweries and distilleries in downtown Milwaukee. Spend a day touring Milwaukee breweries on your own, or go on any of these brewery or bar tours in Milwaukee. One of our favorites is the Pre-Prohibition Historic Bar Tour where we not only visit some dive bars, but enjoy beers, nosh on salami, olives and cheese, Milwaukee Pretzels Company pretzels and even throw some strikes on a historic bowling alley.
Catch a Game
If you are looking to heat things up, there is no place in the country as hot as the floor of Fiserv Forum. Head to the Deer District to grab dinner or a beer, and then head next door to watch the Milwaukee Bucks continue their playoff run.
