First Look: Glorioso’s Appetito

Shopping in the original Glorioso’s Italian Market on Brady Street with my family since I was a child, and then introducing customers to this Italian delight on tours for the past decade, I have been impatiently awaiting for Glorioso’s Appetito, the repurposed deli space, to open.

We officially had our first look at the space, and we are certain that the space will quickly become THE spot for Milwaukee wedding rehearsals, corporate outings, cooking demonstrations and of course, a stop on our tour! The space is divided into 3 sections including:

Scoula

You may remember standing in this space waiting for Eddie Glorioso to take your order for calamari or salami. Now this section is known as Scoula, or school, for cooking classes, demonstrations, or guest chef events.

Cucina

We fondly remember checking out on the store with Joe Glorioso bagging groceries and talking with customers. Now this space is known as Cucina, or the kitchen. It is a production space to expand Glorioso’s catering division, but also a space for private lessons and a chef’s counter .

Congratulazioni to the Glorioso family on this beautiful reimagination of space. We look forward to many more years of introducing our tour attendees to Brady Street and your new culinary center!
