Milwaukee Food & City Tours itself is woman-owned, beginning after a trip to New York where we picked up a brochure and went on something delicious called a – food tour! Sixteen years later we continue to showcase Milwaukee’s great restaurants and food producers to tour attendees. We’re excited to introduce Women’s March attendees to the many stories behind the neighborhoods and businesses in our community.

Women's March Tour Offerings

Historic Third Ward Walking Tour

Enjoy a Milwaukeean-led tour while discovering the Historic Third Ward, a neighborhood reborn from adversity into one of Milwaukee’s most charming neighborhoods.

During our time together we will use Milwaukee’s streetcar, The Hop, to ride to the Historic Third Ward to begin our walking tour. We’ll stop inside historic buildings, have a chance to see local art work, and enjoy two small treats from two of our favorite women-owned businesses.

Start Time: Friday October 20, 2023 at 6:30 – 9 pm pm

Meeting Spot: Hilton City Center, 5th Street Entrance

Cost: $55 per person which includes a guided narrated tour and two delicious eats (a waffle and a Samosa)

Milwaukee Streetcar Food Tour

Vogue Magazine recently bestowed the title of ‘Midwest’s Coolest (and Most Underrated) City’ upon Milwaukee, and we couldn’t agree more! The adventure begins aboard The Hop, where we’ll take in the iconic landmarks that define downtown Milwaukee.

What makes this tour unique? All three stops are at women-owned businesses, offering a taste of Milwaukee’s diverse cuisine. We’ll stop in the Milwaukee Public Market for an appetizer, enjoy an entree at Cubanitas on Restaurant Row, and then end with a surprise woman-owned dessert stop. Support and celebrate the entrepreneurial spirit of women in our community while savoring dishes that together form a delightful meal.
