    Sweet Diner in Milwaukee’s Historic Third Ward is a must-visit for a vibrant, fun brunch. Their pancakes and waffles are favorites, and we love the beautiful presentation, including edible flowers on the plates. With plenty of energy and a great location in the heart of the Third Ward, it’s an easy spot to add to your Milwaukee itinerary.

      We’ve been bringing our Bloody Mary Brunch Tour to Café at the Plaza for years, and for good reason! Their Eggs Benedict is a must-try, perfectly delicious and one of our favorite brunch dishes. 

      Did you know? Designed in 1925, the cafe space was originally a tea room for female hotel residents and guests to socialize.

            For a more modern take on classic breakfast fare, head to Uncle Wolfie’s. The original Uncle Wolfie’s opened in Milwaukee’s Brewers Hill neighborhood in 2018 in a restored historic building. Today, the restaurant has two Milwaukee locations and is known for creative takes on classic brunch dishes and a welcoming neighborhood atmosphere.

              Story Hill BKC is one of our favorite choices for a classic Milwaukee brunch on the city’s west side. Weekend brunch is served Saturday and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., with a menu that includes crepes, egg dishes, baked items and brunch classics.

              The menu is a little more creative than your average neighborhood breakfast, making it a great choice when your group wants something familiar with a twist. Their Crêp-urrito is one of the more memorable options, while the brunch menu also includes a brunch burger, frittata and mushroom-and-spinach waffle.

              #7 Honeypie Cafe

              Honeypie Cafe is located in Milwaukee’s Bay View neighborhood and focuses on Midwestern-inspired food made with Wisconsin ingredients. Breakfast is served daily, while the weekend brunch menu includes handmade buttermilk biscuits and house-infused Bloody Marys. And, of course, there are the pies.

                Comet Cafe is a longtime Milwaukee staple that has been serving scratch-made comfort food since 2005. Its weekend brunch menu runs Saturday and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The menu is full of hearty favorites, including meatloaf hash, chicken and waffles, biscuits and gravy, pork belly and grits, mushroom omelets and the classic Rocket Platter. There are also vegetarian and vegan-friendly choices.
